Thank you for stopping by FlyingCoach.org. I know that your time is valuable, but I think you will find it is well spent by paying us a visit from time to time. My wife, Sara and I share a true, unmitigated passion for travel. She loves to plan travel, reading Lonely Planet well past bedtime. I love the freedom travel provides. We both love to travel light and have become experts at traveling as frugally as possible. The website is divided into three main categories:  Minimize Costs, Minimize Stuff and Maximize Experience. Minimize Costs:  If you really want to travel more, it is quite helpful to keep the costs down as much as possible. In this section, we show you many strategies and tricks we have picked up over the years. We also show you some ways that we have learned to save money in our every day tasks that allow us to travel more. Travel cheap comfortably. Minimize Stuff:  One of my favorite things about travel is having everything that I need in one backpack or suitcase and then trying to bring only the things that are important. It is easy to travel light if you are willing to spend money. If you get somewhere and you need something, you can just buy it. Instead, in this section, in keeping with the minimize costs theme, we provide gear reviews and other methods that enable you to carry everything that you need, so that you do not have to buy anything unless it is a real emergency. Travel light intelligently. Maximize Experience:  Travel is really about the experience. We would much rather see the world than own a vacation home, a large screen flat-panel TV and a boat. This section shares our experiences, philosophy and provides inspiration and ideas that you can build upon to make travel as life-changing for you as it has been for us. You might not change the world, but the world will undoubtedly change you. Please add your comments and experiences to any and all posts so that others can learn from you as well. If you would like to contact us directly, please email phil (at) flyingcoach (dot) org. Thank you again for reading! Phil & Sara
